Patrick, I don't know if it's the case for the ST1200 holder but I don't see no reason why it would be different from other holders (I purchased a 16CL holder many years ago). You will probably get a metal ring (the lens holder part), attached to a piece of threaded rod, a bunch of holding nuts and a small mounting bracket (stuff that can be found at your local DIY store). I had to do much work before being able to use the part. Had to sand the interior of the ring as it was too tight, drill extra holes into the bracket, find the proper screws to attach the bracket to the projector. In the end, I got a pretty decent holder but be prepared to roll up your sleeves.
I think the best lens holders for super 8 machines are from Wittner in Germany (got one for my GS1200) - see this web page .

Hi Patrick, I don't have one, but do you need to swing it up ? If it is near enough to the lens, the picture will not "contact" it.
Greetings, Michael
