Hello,

I ve tried to clean/service/lubricate my Eumig P8 Phonomatic and now I am experiencing some tension issues. To be honest they were always there but I just thought that a proper cleaning would cure them. Is there anyway to adjust the film feeding tension?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Vangelis

I ve found the manual but there is no information about that....
Does anyone know anything about Eumig 8mm projectors in terms of tension adjustments?
Thanks !

Hi Vangelis

I see no one has answered your query about tension in a P8.
The question is a bit vague so maybe thats why.
Do you mean tension at the take Up reel ?????

These often get tight in the spindle shafts causing trouble with loose film winding onto the take up reel.
The drive is by friction of the coiled spring belt stretched over the spindle pulley. There is a small oil hole in the spindles so spray there till the shafts are free to spin.
Try that and tell us if its Ok.
