Newbie here, hello all!! Im trying to use the Autoload on a Bell and howell 8mm/Super8. I can get it to take the super8 film, but it always spills out just above the lens. Its a B&H 655A I believe, found it at a garage sale, no book. Any help is appreciated!! Ciao! Mark

I don't know this machine, but it's pretty common for there to be a lever which needs to be pressed down to route the film during threading, which is then released for normal projection. Sometimes these lock after they are pressed, sometimes not.
It's very possible you will find something like this and once you do it will thread up correctly.
Best of luck!

Some of the B&H require the cover, often clear plastic, over the upper feed sprocket to be gently pushed downward prior to inserting the film. The cover will lock down and will release when the film locks into the takeup reel and lifts up the little arm just in front of the reel.
