I recently ordered some Ektachrome T64 cartridges to shoot during Xmas, and I'm wondering what the cheapest/best alternative for processing is.

Anyone here with ideas?

I think the best and the cheapest one is Dwayne (Kansas. It cost $14 (+shipping).

Check here:

Most other labs will charge you for more than $17/cart.

Moreover if you can get PK59 it will be much cheaper. Nowadays, because the PK59 will end this year, many people sell it for only $1 - $2.

But I don't think you have now time to buy from EBay and send before Dec 31st. I myself now have 5 unused PK59 mailers.

thanks

Wow, that's quite cheap then.

I'll have a look at it after I'm done filming [Smile]

It is even cheaper, because I misquoted the Dwyane's charge. It is $12/cart NOT $14 as I mentioned above. With the calculation of inflation rate, it is basically the same charge applied 20 years ago or even cheaper!!.

So happy shooting Christian! (please read other new thread why people still filming with 8mm in this HD era)

cheers,

You can get 64T developed at Kahl in Germany for 7 Euros (+ 19% VAT) per cartridge. I don't know how he does it for single cartridges as his minimum order amount is usually 50 Euros.
