Inspired by Winbert's "Cars" thread...... It would be fun to create our own "Digest" versions either 9 or 18 minute editions of some classics and upload them on YouTube and put the link in a post. I'd be curious to see what some of us feel "Revised" or "New & Improved" editions of previously released digests should look like.

We can't upload this sort of thing to YouTube Brad as it is illegal and not worth the risk of getting prosecuted.

John is right but Youtube is full of illegal clips. If you search Trailers many people have made their own trailers using various clips from the films. There is so much illegal clips most studios are probably not too bothered but some clips are removed by Youtube like Pixar cartoons. Some users have changed the soundtrack on the Pixar cartoons to get round this.
I would say its not a bad idea but DONT LINK IT HERE ON THE FORUM, just to avoid this forum being closed down.

I think at least half of the stuff on You-Tube is copywrited material. Some time it gets removed, but usually it doesn't. Sounds like a neat idea.

I have one of my super 8 short films from 1988 on YouTube for a while now. 16 minutes and all original with original music. It was made for Halloween 1988. Search "Peddler's Grave"
