I wondered if anyone has tried these? They seem good value for around £7 for 100. I saw some on the Perry's stall at the last BFCC and I was going to buy a pack, but got distracted and forgot. Can anyone confirm that they could be used with a Wurker, even if they cover the balance stripe and are not suitable for stereo films?

Hi Adrian,
I can send you a sample of the Kood style free - I've got some damaged sections (in that I can only reel off 3-5 'good' splices at a time) so they should be fine for seeing if it is OK.
I'm interested in knowing the answer anyway...
I think I've got your address, is the end of your postcode 8SA?

Bart - many thanks for the Kood sample that arrived today. I'm pleased to report that I've tried using a patch with my Wurker and it worked perfectly with an excellent result. So I can recommend them to Wurker owners, with the proviso that the splice wraps around the sprocket edge and therefore covers the balance stripe - so obviously they would not be ideal if splicing a stereo or other twin track film.
Bart - will these be available via your website soon?

The only problem regarding the Kood patches seems to be buying them! Does anyone know of anyone in the UK that currently stocks them?

Hi Adrian, I bought a couple of packs (2x100 splices) earlier this week from Lorell Photographics http://www.lorellphoto.co.uk/ tel 01582 591706, it cost me £19.73 including postage and they let me pay by paypal by sending a payment request. This looks like the best current price, John

John - many thanks for your response.
I've now remembered that Perry's had some on their stall at the last BFCC, so if Ian reads this, he may like to indicate if he still has some in stock.
