Okay, now I'm just showing off. Here is my Elmo ST-1200D bought for 30 Euro with new belts and lamp, total cost 50 Euro for a fully functional projector. I think it is safe to say that my film collecting is entering a new phase with this wonderful Super 8 projector. I screened some Super 8 sound films with it and the sound quality is amazing when hooked up to one of my stereo speakers. I earlier used a Bolex SM8 which have some miner electronic fault so I haven't bee able to connect an external speaker to it. But now that I can enjoy sound movies with a good speaker I'm amazed by the sound quality you can get from a Super 8 sound track. And of course the 150 watt lamp makes the screening even better!

Ok, Daniel, you turned down my offer of a quick profit last time.... so I'll improve it. 52 euros... and that's my last word! Martin

Like many things in my collections I know that if I would to sell them I would most likely never get it back. I have been looking for a sound projector for about 5 years and when I couldn't find one I bought one from ebay in Germany (the Bolex SM8). Sound projectors are very hard to find here near the Polar Circle. If you find a projector it is usually a silent machine (and even they are hard to find). This Elmo projector was originally sold in Sweden because it has an "S" sticker on the back of it. I happened to find it at a large flee/junk/antique market that is annually held once a year for 24 hours.
