Just browsed through completed items, and I believe this is the best super 8mm deal. Unfortunately I found this when the listing has ended
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160475038040
It was sold for US$ 109.37 for tons of super 8mm PLUS one ELMO Sound ST-1200HD M 2 track sound.
Even for the price of projector $109 is already a bargain.
I can say there are 3 reasons why the selling is so poor:
1. Seller focus on selling the films and putting the Elmo 1200 "only" as a bonus. The projector is supposed to be the main.
2. Placing the listing in a wrong category: Cameras & Photo>Vintage Movie & Photography >Film. It has to be on DVD>Film
3. Small photos and dark (projector was on the 3rd photo and only the small part taken, not the whole body).
Now we are all saying..."how lucky is the buyer "
(For future reference, below is the description on Ebay):
quote: I have a bunch of old movies for sale. They are at least 15 years old or more and some were played quite often. They were played for the enjoyment of the patrons at a pizza restaurant. I’m selling the whole lot of them plus the projector. They are super 8mm format and some of the movies were silent.
