Has anyone removed the reel arm covers of their Bolex 18-5 to lubricate the gears ? Where do you get the proper screw driver? I have one that fits the screw groove but the head width of the screwdriver is so narrow I cannot apply enough push to unscrew it. (the arms that hold the feed and take up reel).

Mine took a little force to break free the first time. If I remember right the gears were a little difficult to get back in there properly. With the plate off they not secured well.

Thomas: These do not normally need to be serviced or lubricated. What sort of problem are you having with them? I've got many of them and have not had a problem with the reel arms or spindles on any of them.
