Jim,

Unfortunately my 3x400' version didn't come with the original boxes. Airplane! was a Marketing Films release.

Those are great - My feature is on three reels - so that's a cover for each one!

Is there an Airplane digest as well? My wife loves that movie. And don't call me Shirley.

Bryan,

Marketing released three versions: a 400' digest, a 3x400' digest and the full length film. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

Bryan, believe, better you get the 3 x 400 digest. A 400' is not enough to cover all silliness !

There was this three parter on last Derann list for a good price:

quote:
103– AIRPLANE– 1x800’ A/B. Some fade. £24.00. An airplane crew takes ill. Surely the only person capable of landing the plane is an ex-pilot afraid to fly. But don't call him Shirley. 1980.
ps: as there parter Airplane is on polyester then it fit all into one 800' reel

I have this and never stop laughing.

pss: I wish Paramount also released "Top Secret" on Super 8, ...but not

cheers,

One three parter is available now on Ebay UK.

http://cgi.ebay.com/AIRPLANE-1980-SUPER-8-3-X-400-FT-/140499040592?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_OtherFormats_GL&hash=item20b6653950

Not in a good shape though/

I sent Derann an e-mail but have not heard back yet. I'll keep an eye on the ebay one. How come they're all in the UK? Shipping is almost $20 US from there.
