I use (among others) a Sankyo Stereo 800 which is (almost) the same as one of yours. And yes I think they are terrific machines, excellent value for money, plus easy to service/maintain.

Recently I have suggested one "800" to a friend of mine who owns a small production company specializing in documentaries and educational projects, who is moving his first steps in the S/8 world. The machine came in a little beaten out but with a few hours' labour, it came in pristine conditions both mechanically and cosmetically, and now works better than my own [Frown]
