i was just given a Gaf ST 84 Anscomatic
from a friend of mine who found it when cleaning out his dads attic. [Big Grin] .Im trying to find some information on the camera but not much is coming up in my search online so i thought id ask you guys. All ive come up is thats is a model made in the late 60's and the specs. The battrey for the light sencor is shot. The case where the 4 aa battries is in ok shape but has a little crack in the bottom. There is also some corrosion on the aa terminals.any chance of getting this working again?

I think for the corrison battery contacts. I know two ways to do fix the contacts without opening the camera in pieces. Use the pencil eraser on the contacts and rub on it until you dont see the greenish or whitish on the contacts, it can work sometimes depends how badly is the corrison. Second, You have to tear a pieces of tin foil but one piece per battery contact, cover the contacts. But never let the tin foil touch each others because it can explode the batteries or smell horrible. It might help. [Smile]
