Has anyone used Steve Osborne's screen paint? And especially has anyone rolled it on their screen? I am thinking about trying it.

Dan, the stuff is miraculous. I tried it on my permanent screen inside...and followed directions....you need two to three coats , depending on what you are painting...but when I finished ( and I didn't tell my wife I had painted it)...she just happened to remark..." what did you do to the screen?...Did you clean it or something?....and that was before I had projected anything on it.... the light and whiteness shows a discernable improvement. I'd say it improves light reflectance by 15 to 20%. It was so good, I tried it on my 17 foot outdoor screen...which is basically white vinyl banner material....and the difference was even more pronounced. That paint, plus a two blade shutter in my Super 8 machine..made it bright enough for Super 8 scope showings ....17 feet. I'd recommend that paint to anyone.
