I posted this unknown 8mm short last week. So far everyone's stumped. I forwarded it to silent films.org & the library of congress. neither knew what this film was called or who stars in it. I have uploaded a 40 second screen shot video now.
i refer to it as captain umpteblojowski (GREAT NAME) because of the little man's character. the link to watch the movie is also featured in the screen shot video.

Title could be something else, the girl almost looked like Lillian Gish, but isn't - Due to the decomposition, I'm estimating the film is about 1910, a fairy-tale story of course - Let me investigate - Shorty

THANKS!
Yeah, it's a mystery. She does look like Lillian Gish & Zasu Pitts. It's those dreamy big eyes. I swear the actor who plays Dad or Grandpa was a regular character actor in his day.
As for the little man, with all the heavy make up & the fact that his special effects character has further deteriorated it makes it impossible to see who he is. You get a brief close up just before he enters the doll house, but it's still too difficult to see who it is. Thanks for the help.

A bit like Victor Moore, so I checked the IMDB with Gish & Pitts, the earliest films have them older - It's a fairy-tale sequence, and I still think the man bears a little like the cop from POP GOES THE EASEL - Odd how these early people look alot like those we are already familiar with, keep a weather-eye out in old films for those faces - I will too
