Hi everyone. I have a Canon Cine S-400 projector. To change from standard 8 to super 8 there is a lever that shifts a part with 2 different gate sizes for the light to shine through. I cannot see what else it changes like sprockets etc.

Hi Paul, These are a sprocketless projector. They rely on the claw fingers to move film through the projector & so theres no need to change any sprockets over. There ain't any sprockets. dogtor

Thats right Paul, When you swap guages, the film is moved slightly sideways in the gate to align the film frame with the claw finger & aperture frame. dogtor
