Yesterday, I got a deal on the super 8 sound projector for $30. But the projector was never been used but in the box. I turned on the projector, it did work like new. The projector looks new from the store. Its GAF 3000s projector. [Big Grin]

Edit: I cant to seem to post the picture.

I'm not familiar with the model, but a new (old stock) projector for $30 sounds like a bargain. Congratulations!

It's a nice projector. It was manufactured by Chinon and it's identical to the Chinon 7000. Some GAF 3000 also have a speed adjustment control. [Wink]

The lamps don't last too long though. [Frown]

Check on ebay, check www.a-1video.com. These are only a few where you can buy them. Watch out for the guy who is selling a Castle Film: Tarantula for $150.00. This is extremely price gorging! NO CASTLE FILM IS WORTH $150.00! Enjoy your hobby like we do. [Cool]

Congratulations!

May your lamp stay bright and your films un-scratched!

(Hey! That ought to be an official "Film Blessing"!) [Smile]
