Its very rare that our National broadcaster would show any interest in 8MM film making. Might have to forgive them after i stumbled across this NationWide program that i obviously missed in 2011. Might be of some interest to Forum members who have Irish links. I have posted the link to the TV video page below but im not sure if it will work outside of the 'green isle'. Someone might let me know.

I have just viewed the link Des and it played okay for me.I love those home movie programmes, I suppose I view them as social history and find them fascinating. It's maybe "rose coloured specs" but people seemed happier in those days, life was slower and not the mad rush it is now and for the man with the camera, he was centre stage.Excellent, I'm gonna watch it again and thanks for sharing the nostalgia.

It worked for me in the U.S., thanks Desmond! I think I heard something abut this a while back, maybe on a different forum, but I could never view it.
