We are all familiar with the two 200' Disney extracts from "The Rescuers". 1) Albatross Airlines 2) The Rescue.

I have recently bought a 400' spool containing both spliced together. At first sight it appears to be a home edit of the two films with "The Rescue" title at the front, however, it is in a 400' side opening plastic can with coloured info on both sides which look quite original.

One side says "Walt Disney. Extracts from The Rescuers. U. Disney Super 8mm Sound". The other side says "Disney's 23rd Animated Classic. A full story line. Extracts from the feature. Albatross Airlines and The Rescue. Super 8mm Sound".

Does any member also have this? Was it an actual Disney release? The "U" certificate looks like it has been taken off a DVD, Super 8 films never carried a Censor Certificate.

Yup!!!

It's probably homemade, but look at just what even our very own members are able to make when it comes to boxes for they're stuff!

By the way, a big hearty thanx to Rob Young for his STAR WARS box covers that he mailed me. Many MANY thanX, in case I hadn't thanked him by now.
