So inspired by Pat's My Finished Project' thread, I chose to show my opposite.

This screening room was used to be nice and tidy.

It was even featured twice in local magazine:

Male Emporium (ed. Nov 2007)

and

Audio Video (ed. June 2009)

However my official work required me to leave the country for Canada and I could not bring my films and toys with me, so they were put on the storage for 4 years.

I finished my terms in Canada and now have to set up again. All boxes were taken out from the storage since July, but I have not had enough time to finish it. Cleaning my house is the most priority. There were more boxes for the house, and my wife and I had to open those boxes from the storage plus more boxes from one full load 20' container from Canada.

So you can imagine how mess was our house from last July.

Now the house is clean and tidy, left my screening room with some mess.

Here below are some photos:

My film collections are scattered around. 200', 400', 600' 800' and 1200' plus LPs/Vinyls are just everywhere. I haven't had time to categorize them

I love DJ-ing too, so the two turntables and mixer are also here to entairtain me together with two projectors

boxes and boxes...some old games and toys are there too

This is my two seater screening room

Looks like fun Winbert! Are you home for good?

No Pat,

My type of work will not let me to stay in my home country for long. It is mostly for 3 years and next is another country.

If it were 10 years ago, it might be fun to manage the messy room like that. But now, after office hours, I always feel sleepy. While during the weekend, my 2 young kids need my attention.

Ten years ago, I was alone and getting fully involved with this films and toys were so fun.... [Wink]

I am the reverse now. Aged 78, no wife, children all grown up and left home, mortgage paid off years ago.
So now I can indulge in my hobby to my heart's content.
Whoopie!!

Mmmm ... turntables!

Osi,

The turntables are SL-1200 from Technics (considered the best DJ Turntable)

and the projectors are ST-1200 from Elmo.

It is so coincidence they have similar series numbers [Wink]
