Hi Guys

I have problem with framer in my T183. I can adjust only between 50% of screen to 80%. But all the time i see 2 frames on my screen.

I don know why its wrong now. Weeks ago was good. Any ideas ?? Is there any place to adjust frame except framer knob ?

It sounds like your claw is worn. It happened to my Bauer T610. In the end I had to sell it for parts but if I lived in Europe I would have gotten it repaired.
Good Luck! Bauers are really good machines but I hear that is their achilles heal. The worn claw!
Dum dum dum!! (Sounds like a horror movie from the 50's..the Worn Claw!)

I can confirm that Alan's prediction is almost certainly correct. This year I had to send my T610 over to Germany to have a new shutter claw and cam follower fitted. I would have been able to have done all the repairs myself as I have very good knowledge of the entire mechanical set up on the Bauer's except for the fact that FFR etc are keeping hold of all the remaining spare parts that now exist for these fine machines and will not sell them to you without carrying out the work themselves. All in all a very expensive job when you include the courier costs but in my opinion well worth it to have a perfect running machine again for now and the foreseeable future!

Thx guys. I'm waiting for courier and my Bauer will go to Germany for repair. I hope they will do it.

Edwin,
your repair kit works fine when it is the pin on the framer that has broken, but this is not the issue here, but a claw issue as stated.

Yes indeed.

For the Bauer T500/T600 series we also have the cam and claw arm follower, see: http://shop.van-eck.net/PP-0015.html

But I am not sure that these work also on the Bauer T183 etc?
