Hi i have been offered one of these at a reasonable price and wondered if it something i should purchase.Does anyone have one and do you recommend it? Also included is a Screen day lite usa boxed Not sure if this is any good either any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Go for it. I have five Chinon projectors and have always found them very reliable, however, members are sometimes critical of their plastic gates.

Dalite screens are very well made: I've been using my pull down most nights per week for about 8 years now and it's still pretty much as new.
As long as it's been treated kindly you should be good to go.

Oh! if it included shipping would it be ok? this may not be so good after all i looked on ebay earlier and found one in States for £244

I have no knowledge of the screen in this offer, and prices in the US for projectors seldom reflect the prices in the UK.

William, Be careful buying a used screen, they are easily damaged, especially the glass beaded finish. I would recommend buying new from the maker if possible. Like Steve, I also have a pull down Da-Lite I'm very pleased with....

Yes i think after some good advice here i will decline the offer.Thank you all for letting me know not a great deal after all. It was someone on ebay i had bought something from had offered it to me.Once again i still have a lot to learn
