I already have this scope Kempski print of Poltergeist, but that is a bargain price. He does say that the sound isn't perfect, but it's even been re-recorded from a digital source.

Osi, I would have already bought this when I saw the listing, but what I read is that the mag tracks themselves have something wrong with them, not just a recording problem....maybe I misunderstood the description [Confused]

I understood it as having bad Mag tracks too which would make it a "mute" print for all intent and purposes. Not good.

Not a mute print, the sound is there. I had Lance Alspaugh remix the tracks last year for my September showing outdoors. An improvement, but there is background noise (some crackling), and the high frequencies, on some reels, are muffed a little. Overall, my crowd did not mind, but just being honest about the quality that Kempski did to this print.... it's well worth the price, considering I have over $400 invested in this print. Scope versions are hard to come by, and if you sync if up, sound problem solved.

I'm surprised to see you sell it for such a low price! I hope it gets bid up a bit and you get most of that money back ...

Folks, this really is a great print to see in scope!!! I own it as well! Great color, literally pin sharp! (you really can't go wrong with a Kempski print.

Greg, I don't understand what you mean by "syncing it up". Do you mean having it re-recorded again (didn't Lance's re-record take?), or syncing it to a DVD? I'd really like a scope print of this, but not without good sound. I'm a big Tobe Hooper fan....
