I've just had in a STD.8 B/W 400' sound film called "Angel With A Scar", it stars Viktors Ritelis & Ray Boxshall. It looks filmed in Britain in the 1960's. It's an unusual little film, it looks like an experimental film, as it's got many varied types of shot, even some negative looking shots. I watched it all the way through, although it has sound, there is no dialogue just music and effects. The story is about a man who looks like he's unstable mentally, and he follows a hunchback, and he finds him dead, he then finds a lot om money on the dead body. Next day we see newspaper headlines stating that a body was found, it was either murder or manslaughter, but the missing money is actually marked in some way. He then gets in a quandary and starts burning the cash in a small saucepan. The print is very good and varies from B+ to B+/B, it's a very full 400' reel, so a generous running time, but apart from the fact that Viktors Ritelis is listed on the IMDB as a writer and director, I can't find out anything else, does any forum member know any thing more. It's a strange, unusual little movie, with some style, and it must have been thought of quite highly to have released it on STD.8, and in sound too!
Any information out there?
