Growing up in the States, my exposure to Derann in the 70s was minimal. However, my friend purchased their 400' digest of PHANTASM and received a catalog, so I did get to look at that.
Just recently I purchased a copy of the 200' Derann extract "Lips of Blood," which is taken from a Spanish film with the unlikely English title LOVE BRIDES OF THE BLOOD MUMMY. I vaguely remember seeing the title listed in my friend's catalog, and it always kind of haunted me because it was rare in that it was a horror film I had not heard of at the time.
If I recall correctly, there was another "erotic" horror film listed on the same page of the catalog, and I had not heard of it either. Is it possible that anyone here has the slightest idea what I am talking about? I would be really curious to know the identity of the other film. Guesses (educated and otherwise) also gratefully accepted.

There is a reproduction of a Derann catalogue from 1978 that is supposed to be posted on The Reel Image's site but from Belgium, there are only three pages that have a working link. You may try to see if you're luckier from the US. http://www.thereelimage.co.uk/archive/oldsite/oldcatalgue/index.htm

Thanks for pointing out the missing images for the Derann catalogue.
In the process of updating everything and its taking longer than I thought. Plus had a few hospital appointments over the last year.
Moving scans to pdf so they can be downloaded. I'll try to get the Derann done next. I have had to rescan some of them which is taking time. I have about 4 catalogues I think to do.

Marshall - I think the film you are referring to was VIRGIN WITCH. Derann released the film as a feature 4 X 400' color/sound... but there was never a digest that I'm aware of. It was produced by Hammer's rival Tigon but it was more erotic than horror and that's why Derann had it listed in that category. It's a great fun 70's film... but sadly most, if not all, of the prints are pretty red now (including mine).

Sorry Tom for some reason that part is not fully functioning its the old site layout which I just kept for reference. I don't think it all went over very well though.
I hope to get more work done on it over the next few months, so I'll do the Derann catalogue next, if I can find it!
I think when I first started doing the site broadband was not around, so I tried to make an approximation of some of the catalogues to keep the size down. It didn't work.
I have got quite a few catalogues to add, but its amazing how long its taking me. Must stop watching films.
All will be in pdf format.
