you have to take the claw arm out and replace it by a new one. Need adjustment after installing new one. Experience is required to do that job successfully. x-, y-, z-axle have to be carefully adjusted. film projector technicans use special tools and jigs for adjustment.
remove 2 steel screws at rear end of claw arm and take arm out. Take care for claw spring, as you need it for reverse operation again.
If you need better access, remove bulb and bulb holder (1 screw). If you still require more space, remove c-clip left side of worm gear, loosen 2 srews on right side of worm gear and shift brass part and worm gear to left side. Now you can shift shutter with cam approx. 2mm to right side. If you like to clean and inspect cam groove, take out shutter by loosen 2 srews on right side of shutter and shift brass tube to left side. Now you can take off plastic tube and you habe free access to shutter.
