No you're right Tom, should have elaborated but I will now instead, I knew Stardust was only ever available as a digest whereas That'll Be The Day" was always an abridged feature.
Yes, as I said, I knew it was grainy, I saw it first time around, but I was just wondering if there was any hope on holding out to find another before obtaining the double Bill full length on Blu Ray for a tenner!
It will be perfect watching it that way, but as you know we don't strive for perfection in the cine world, just a fantastic nostalgic watch with plenty of grain, loads of noise and set up hassles as well as trying to perfect a 30 to 40 year mag stripe to give us something resembling a lossless toneally perfect track like that of the modern day digital variety.
If I can find one relatively unscathed for no more than fifty quid, I guess I will take a gamble on the grain and sepia issues and work the track to the best that can be achieved from the guage.
