OK-
So I found an old Brownie 8mm in the box at a garage sale. Looks new and since I'm a crow and can't resist anything shiny, I bought it.
So here's my question.
When running forward, the spindle that turns the film reel (not the take-up reel) turns faster than the take up reel spindle thus emitting film all over the floor. Hmmm ...
And the rewind only works when I set the projector on its side. I didn't see any loose solders are wires, so I'm not really sure what that means' except maybe the Brownie has become quite finicky in her old age.
Any of you 8mm Gurus have any ideas or suggestions?
