Following on from the no power problem on the sankyo 600 we hace traced the problem down to a SCR or Silicon Controlled Rectifier the part needed is a SFOR2B41. If any body has one of these that there willing to post that would be good of if anyone has a old motor board from a Sankyo 600 for sale that also would be good. I have a electronics expert working on this for me and he has told me that the part was rare but someone might just have one kicking around. Barry.

Hi Steve thanks for that I have got feedback from my guy and he says its not sensitive enough on the gate trigger. Barry.

Worse come to worse you may need to use the NTE5402 and increase the sensitivity of the gate by adding in a pull-up resistor to the DC voltage operating the circuit, you could even make it a potentiometer to fine tune it.
-getting the original part is the first choice, but it's always nice to have plan "B" in your back pocket.
