Well, last night I did something totally unprecedented for me - ONLY watched 8mm - kids loved it!

Thanks Osi! Its actually only the second time I ever used it - gave it a good cleaning, and oiled it. I love the attached manual rewind - why don't super 8 machines have this?!?

I too will be using the M8 later today. I got a call from a lady last week who got my number from the Heritage Park and asked me if I could help her to show some long ago home movie family film taken around 1960. I offered to help and her sister who is flying in today for a visit is bringing the films with her. I am more than happy to help screen them for her family, and will pass on a address of a chap who does good transfers onto disc locally. [Smile]

I too like to use the Bolex M8 for my Standard 8mm silent prints.
My one is really bright as its been converted to 200W halogen lamp. I use an external transformer for this.
