Not too long ago I purchased this beautiful projector at a thrift store here in Buenos Aires where I now live. It ran well for a while using both 8mm & Super 8. Now I'm having trouble loading the film with the auto load. It seems that there are pieces of old film stuck inside that keeps the auto load from engaging the lead when I try to put in a new roll. I took the back cover off, but it does not give access to that part of the projector. Any ideas / suggestions how to fix this ???
Thank you.

I think you need to take the front cover off to access the film path and often there are guards to keep the film in place that need removing to get to the film path. I am assuming that this is very similar to the 501D Eumig which has a pull off/push on transparent guard just as the film enters the projector.

If this is similar to the 800 series you really need to open the covers of various film path sections with the machine laying on its back. There are tiny half rollers inside and if they escape you will never see them again!

Thank you very much to you...
Problem solved !!!. I didn't realized that the projector has a screw on the front plate. All I did was remove the front plate & voila !!!... There it was. little pieces of old film that looked like an accordion. I removed them all then did a dry run & now happy to report the auto load seems to be working perfectly. I'm looking forward to using my old projector again.
Thanks again to all.
cheers.
Alex.
