Arturo, the Eumig 800 series projectors are generally excellent machines, with very solid high quality design and construction. Built like little tanks really. When working properly, they are very gentle on film and will never scratch the picture area. I would trust my films to a Eumig 800 projector more than some far more expensive projectors I know. The entry level machine is the S802, which does a good job, but I would seek out a better version like the 820 Sonomatic which has a much better and higher power amplifier. The D models are all dual 8, that is they will accept both the older standard 8mm and the more recent super 8mm film. Known problems with all the 800 series are 1) slippage of the rubber drive disc, which can result in slow running speed, and 2) wear out of the magnetic sound head which will result in no sound. So make sure to ask the seller that the projector is running at the correct speed, and is producing loud clear sound. Also, if you decide to buy one of the D models, make sure that it comes with the extra gate and sprocket wheels to enable use with both film sizes.
