I have a 708 EL that I bought new many years ago. Now it is having Flavio's problem with losing the loop and eating film (see Flavio's video below), AND it won't even play at 24fps. In fact it will not hold ANY speed.

Are there any repair-people on the West Coast any more? I live near San Francisco.
