One of my GS machines is just back from the repair shop. The original problem was repaired. But I notice the tech over looked another issue I know was on the repair list. Before it goes back, I am wondering if it is a POT adjustment that maybe I can do. Can someone please advise.
I am running a magnetic sound print.
Using the printed number scale around the track one volume knob.
Sound used to be booming loud at # 2 position using built in speakers mono mode.
Now it must be turned up to # 3 to achieve the same volume booming.
Which means at # 2 it is too low compared to my other machines.
This is important to fix, as I often run with two machines. And I would prefer that both machines be set with booming sound @ # 2.
Is there an adjustment inside the machine can I bring it up a notch to re-set this?
How if possible is this done. Or if not for me what do I tell the tech to adjust?
I know I can simply set both machines differently to achieve balanced sound - one higher than the other = matched. But that is not what I want to do. I want them both matched set at # 2 as I find across my machines this is the normal setting.

A simple solution would be to reposition the volume knob on its shaft so that it is positioned at #2 when you have the desired volume. The volume knobs are easy to take away from their shafts.

That might help as a quick fix. I still prefer the internal correction, if easy to do. Thanks for the tip though. It's very much appreciated.
