Hi, if the film is in its original box with artwork, then you may have only one of the two part of the film (the Italian version of the film was released in 8x600ft spools, collected in two boxes, but the film is also cut respect to the cinematographic version). If you have it in bigger spools, maybe the have been joined together.
The film will be almost certainly red or reddish and, for sure, it has the scope cut at the edges (as many Italian bootleg prints).
I've never had the print but, according to some Italian collectors it's almost unwatchable...
From a collector's point of view its value is really low

Among other things, it should be a pirate version. That would not, in itself, be a problem, I saw pirate Super 8 film with good audio and image. But this version is not well...
However, by surfing around the web, you can find note about a German version, but with Italian audio, by Animex. That is in higher quality, but more more rare.
The film, as mentioned, may also have been rewound in 4 larger reels.

Thank you everyone for the replies! So upon closer inspection, it does appear to be reel #5,6,7 and 8, so the later half of the film. Sadly I do not have a projector, but holding it up to light, its looks ok, not too red or faded. Looks like it was distributed by CIC. On the spine is a gold logo of 2 doves with the letters WYX. I was hoping to sell it on eBay as a curio, but no idea what I'd even list for opening bid. $1? Many thanks again everyone!
