Recently I fixed my grandfather eumig P8 automatic projector
everything works great except that the frame is split in two.
I think the framing control switch not working
I tried turn the framing control switch with a screwdriver but nothing change.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix the framing control or the split frame?

Hello Barak. Have you been able to fix the problem, yet ? You may ask one of those specialists what they could advise if you didn't succeed.

Hi Barak

The frame adjustment knob is missing and the framer shaft is very hard to turn without lubing it properly. At the other end of the shaft is a cam which also needs greasing and it may even be seized.

This job of this cam is to raise or lower the entire front end of the mechanical shutter assembly which will affect the position of the projected frame lines.

So see if you can free up the framer shaft and cam and also restore the up and down sliding movement of the shutter assembly.

Good luck with it and let us all know how you go.
