Understand Winbert, but in this case it makes no sense.
After some investigation, it's not a wedding, but that makes no odds. What does make odds is that in the film I now notice the person and his side kick filming (the side kick has an illumination bulb) holding the camera. The camera is the correct orientation.
As far as I am aware, there is no transfer of reels during development, therefore the reel in the camera is the one developed and thus the one in my possession?
There would also be no logical point, this is a simple get together in a pub?
Thoughts?
[Edit] And now on even further examination, it's backwards. Again no problem there, I will just reverse the film and re-publish. It's not a great clip to be honest and needs some work. I still though cannot get my head round it starting off upside down on the actual film when it was filmed with the camera correctly orientated.
[Edit Edit] I have just has a eureka moment. Of course it can be upside down. It's a combination of playing the film once and leaving it on the take up reel. Then rather than rewind, take the reel and fit it again to the source reel only then maybe fit it to the arm the wrong way. HA!! Cripes. The fact the film was backwards has just dropped the penny.
Kind Regards Mark. [ August 28, 2018, 10:02 AM: Message edited by: Mark Davies ]
