I am looking if anyone as a service manual for a sankyo S701 projector. Bought it mint many years back, and it has served me very well.
However, mine is running a little fast on 18 FPS and has a lot of audio wow/flutter and iffy problems with the sound, I am suspecting it needs a recap and some adjustment to the speed. The tension also seems to be going a little and the supply reel rewind is becoming sluggish, so I have deployed a backup identical projector and taking this little baby out of service until I can fix it up. I have used it through many screenings of my own films and it has never given me problems until the past few months or so.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might get parts such as belts (which have never been replaced before) and/or a service manual? Soldering is no problem for me, I have experience in both soldering and BGA rework, so a soldering iron and replacing moving parts is not a problem for me.
