Hello, in my previous post about developing expired color film, I realized that it is too much of a hassle. No I am thinking about developing my footage as black and white negatives. I have a few questions about this, I apologize in advance for the multitude of questions in one post.
While shooting, is there anything I should consider via shooting on color film with the intention of developing in black and white? (Aside from a general awareness of black and white cinematography)
Also, I have purchased Kodachrome and ektachrome, both expired in the 70s/80s, will the developing process for both of these be the same?
Also, I does anyone have any input on the developing process? Is there a good go-to online resource in the way of a how-to guide? I’ve seen a lot and don’t know which one to go with. Caffenol seems like a good bet from what I’ve seen, but then there are so many variations on that technique alone.
