Nicholas This camera, which takes regular (double) 8 film, had an approximate life span of twenty years from the late 1930s to the late 1950s. During that time it had various minor modifications. Large number were sold. It was a very popular item but was not cheap. In 1954 it was £71 plus £5 for its ever ready case. (UK pound prices). It was built in true solid Eumig style, before the days of plastic. http://www.filmreload.com/photography/eumig-c3

Hello and thank you for your reply on this Eumig 8mm movie camera. I recently found out that this camera has 1 small problem . the ASA/ISO control adjustment on this camera only has a high setting of 50 ASA. Where 8mm film now manufactured and called Fomapan 8mm r100,, is a higher ASA adjustment setting of 100. So using this Eumig camera unfortunately may not be possible. Any opinions on this problem would be appreciated..
