I would like to acquire 8mm/Super 8mm projector that has sound playback capability. What would experienced users of this forum recommend? Are there different kinds of audio types?

I would like to have external audio out, that can be connected to a stereo/speaker(s). Also, it's important to be able to get parts.

Depends on the films you're expecting to show with.

If all your collections are of only general magnetic mono track, that means practically ANY super 8 sound projector will do. [Razz]

Next thing up would be super8 optical track, and eventually super 8 magnetic stereo. The last one would mean $$$-$$$$ to spend with.
