Hi Larry, Yes 9.5mm film has the sprocket holes in the center of the film. The big advantage is you get almost a 16mm frame size in a film just slightly wider than 8mm.

Hi Stewart, I really have no idea where I downloaded this from. But it looks like a scene from one of Pathescope's many 9.5mm wartime documentary films.
