Hey folks! My wife just listed a reel 2 of "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" of a three reel film. This one is a curiosity, as we sold another reel 2 of this feature some months ago. We got this one in a lot of films I finally recieved a few days ago from South Africa. The fellow informed me that there were two extra "Snoopy Come Home reels, and it turned out to be one extra reel two of "Boy".

What I find curious is that the first one we auctioned off fit onto a 400ft reel. This one nearly fills completely a 600ft reel, (running a good 30 minutes), so there must have been missing some footage from that first auction, four or five minutes.

The color is very good. The only thing that appears to have shifted is the blacks, which are not perfect, but for a reel 42 years old, it is amazing that it has color period!

Some very slight lines on the print, which I think we can largely fix up with a really good cleaning before shipping.

Also, as my wife stated in the auction, we also have the original Technicolor cartridge that it came in as well, so if you are the winning bidder, you get the catridge if you want it, but it will cause the shipping to be higher, of course.

The auction starts at 25.00 dollars, with a buy it now of 35.00 dollars

Good luck folks!

And where is the link....?

and Osi re-read again what I have written about putting the link in this thread: http://8mmforum.film-tech.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=003103

Osi, it seems you have trouble in putting the link.

It is very easy. Below is step by step:

1. Open your ebay listing.

2. Place your cursor on the URL address

3. Do "CTRL A" i.e press CTRL (which is located under Caps lock) and hit letter "A" while you still pressing CTRL button.

4. Do "CRTL C" (to copy)

5. Go to 8mmforum where you are writing this posting

6. Place the cursor on the message box and do "CTRL V" (to paste)

Your link will be in the message box.

I will not put your auction link here until you really give up to do that. [Big Grin]

cheers,

Hey everybody ...

My wife has updated the auction for this. She stated the problem with getting shipping quotes for overseas buyers.

She doesn't want to do online quotes because, by her own word, she has never had a single quote online, match up with what you pay at the posts window.
