Okay guys.......gotta raise some money here....some prices may seem high but just think about how many times you've seen this many great titles on one film list! Unless otherwise noted....all titles are near mint to mint. ALL films are mounted on Bonum Reels with cannisters. I ship worldwide. Money orders or cash via registered mail only. U.S. dollars only. Films are available on a first come first served basis only. ALL titles are Super 8 sound full length prints. Postage from Canada will be determined. Sit tight.......here goes!
1. The Old Dark House (1932) - 2 X 800 gorgeous MINT bootleg of this James Whale Classic. $300
2. Jason and The Argonauts (1963) - Yes the rare Derann full length feature release with one light line. Gorgeous color and booming sound! $300 SOLD!
3. The Most Dangerous Game (1933) - 2 X 600 Very nice print with only one or two light lines. $125
4. Dracula (1931) - 2 X 800 This is the BETTER German release that is a green toned print and has been rerecorded in stereo with the Philip Glass Score. Bela at his best! Some negative scratches only. $300
5. Dead Of Night (1945) 2 X 600 This is the Derann release that was edited by the founder of Derann himself. This print is stone dead mint. Ventriliquest story is in this one. $200
6. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1939) 3 X 800. This is the full length Nostalgia Merchant print of the RKO Laughton remake. A very nice print with a light line that does not distract from the entertainment value of this spectacular film. $150 SOLD!!
7. The Body Snatcher (1945) 2 X 800. Yet another RKO classic this time with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. Beautiful print with a faint line if any at all. Rerecorded in Stereo! $200
8. The Mummy's Curse (1944) 2 x 600. Very nice bootleg print of this Universal Horror Classic. The scene when Virginia Christine comes out of the swamp will send shivers down your spine. Rerecorded in stereo! Near mint! $200 SOLD!!
9. Man Made Monster (1941) 2 x 600. CHC release of this Lon Chaney Jr Universal Horror classic. The print is a bit dark but it is still very enjoyable and a rare one in full length. $200 SOLD!!
10. Freaks (1932) 2 X 600. Tod Browning Classic. This is a rare bootleg in a sepia toned print and rerecorded in stereo. Very light line. VERY CREEPY FILM. $250 SOLD!!
11. The Bride Of Frankenstein (1935) 2 X 800 James Whale Classic and is said to be the best Universal Horror film ever made. Another sepia tone print. Light lines on this one. Rerecorded in stereo and a very rare one you won't want to pass up! $300 SOLD!
12. Nosferatu (1922) 2 X 600 Blackhawk print that is near mint to mint. Still creepy to this day and offers the original Blackhawk score. $100 SOLD!!
13. King Kong (1933) Mounted on 2 X 1200 Beautiful print with only a very light line in the first reel and the second reel is mint to near mint. Mountain films release that is uncut. $200
14. Cat People (1941) 2 X 800 Nostalgia Merchant release. This has got to be one of the most difficult films to find in Super 8 and this print is stunning. Simone Simon is at her sexiest. Very eerie Val Lewton Classic. Print is stone dead mint with only one light neg scratch that appears briefly. $300 SOLD!!
15. The Wolfman (1941) 2 X 800 Lon Chaney as Larry Talbot in this sepia toned bootleg. Rerecorded in stereo. Print has some light lines but is very enjoyable and a real toughie to find in full length Super 8 sound. $200 SOLD!!
16. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1920) 2 X 800 John Barrymore version of this Blackhawk print with a fine music score. Print is near mint. $100
17. Svengali (1931) 2 X 800 John Barrymore seduces the young and sexy Marian Marsh right under the nose of Bramwell Fletcher. Mint print of this eerie classic. $150 SOLD!!
18. The Ghost Ship (1945) 2 X 800 A Mountain Films release of this Val Lewton thriller with Richard Dix as a psychotic captain who has a power struggle with his first mate. Light lines. Tough one to find full length! $150
19. The Black Cat (1934) 2 X 600 Yes this is the Karloff and Lugosi version directed by Edgar Ulmer. This is a STANDARD 8MM SOUND PRINT. Very light line and a gorgeous print with incredible contrast and booming sound. A reel sweetheart and as you know VERY tough to find in this guage. $200 SOLD!!
20. Sherlock Holmes And The Voice Of Terror (1942) 2 X 800 Niles print of the first in a series of 12 films Rathbone did for Universal as Holmes. Print has a light line but otherwise is in very good condition and these films are in demand in Super 8. $150.
21. Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1942) 2 X 800 I purchased this Niles print brand new. Watched it once. It is stone dead mint. $150
22. Sherlock Holmes In Washington (1943) 2 X 800 Basil and Nigel travel to the USA to fight crime and save England! Very nice print with a light line in the last 300 feet. $150
23. Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (1943) 2 X 800 Said to be one of the best in the series. Print is a very nice Niles release with great contrast. Pretty much stone dead mint. $150
24. The Scarlet Claw (1944) 2 X 800 Holmes and Watson come over here to Canada to fight serial killer just 8 hours east of my home! Very spooky film with loads of Universal Horror elements including music, sets and even character actors. A gorgeous print! SOLD!
25. The Pearl Of Death (1944) 2 X 800 Holmes and Watson crack the mystery of a stolen pearl while trying to fight off an angry Rondo Hatton! Very nice print with a light line if any at all. $150
26. The House Of Fear (1945) 2 X 800 Holmes and Watson join a private mens club for a weekend of murder and hijinx. Very creepy atmospheric Unversal Horror classic. Print is excellent! $150
27. The Woman In Green (1945) 2 X 800 Sexy Hillary Brooke is seducing and blackmailing rich men of London. Watch Basil Rathbone crack the crime of the famous Finger Murders. Beautiful print with only one light line if any. $150
28. Pursuit to Algiers (1945) 2 X 600 Rathbone and Bruce aboard a ship escorting a Prince who is incogneto. Three Henchmen board the ship and terrorize Basil and Nigel. A very good twist at the end that will suprise you. Near mint print. $150
29. Terror By Night (1946) 2 X 600 Entire movie takes place on a passenger train. It's a bigtime who done it that still leaves you scratching your head at the end. Beautiful atmospheric film with some great Universal character actors including the slimy Skelton Knaggs. The female lead in this movie is really sexy! Print is near mint. $150
30. Dressed to Kill (1946) 2 X 600 The final film where Rathbone plays Sherlock Holmes. A very interesting plot in which a jailbird helps some fellow cons with a counterfiet ring. Basil slaps the cuffs on them before the ink hits the printing press. Excellent to near mint print. $150
31. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1923) 3 X 800 The Lon Chaney Classic from Universal. This is the Blackhawk release with an amazing soundtrack that will blow you away! Print is STONE DEAD MINT!! $150
32. The Phantom Of The Opera (1925) 2 X 800 Another Lon Chaney film that catapulted him to stardom. Beautiful Blackhawk print with music score and the color Masque Of The Red Death scene. $150 SOLD!!
33. Outside The Law (1921) 2 X 800 Lon Chaney plays a thug who turns a woman from an ex con back to a con again! This was once a lost film and was found and restored. A few feet suffered some damage but this is in the neg only. This Blackhawk print has a beautiful score and is stone dead mint. $150
34. The Three Musketeers (1945) This is my Super 8 "Showoff" movie. Gorgeous print of this Gene Kelly film. All star cast including Vincent Price, Lana Turner, Van Heflin, Angela Lansbury, Frank Morgan and more. Gene Kelly is dancin with that sword! BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND BOOMING SOUND! One very light line. Worth every penny I am asking for this. $250
35. The Little Mermaid (1989) 2 X 800 Beautiful Derann stereo print of this Disney Classic. Some really great songs in this one and the film is near mint with only a light line if any at all. $200
36. White Zombie (1932) 2 X 800 Bela Lugosi classic film. I believe this is a Niles release. Beautiful print with light lines if any at all. $100 SOLD!!
37. The Death Kiss (1933) 2 X 800 Same cast as Dracula including Lugosi, David Manners and Edward Van Sloan. This is a murder mystery that takes place on a movie set. Great film that has many shots of how a film was made in the golden age of Hollywood. 5 minutes of the film is slightly out of sync. Near mint print and a tough one to find! $100
38. Mysterious Mr Wong (1935) Lugosi's first film for Monogram studios. Bela is very convincing as Wong who seeks the twelve coins of Confusious so he can rule the world......or is it just Chinatown? Wallace Ford of "Freaks" fame plays the cocky hero. Print has some lines but is still very enjoyable. $75
39. The Raven (1935) 1 X 400 MINT Univeral 8 digest. Purchased brand new and ran once on my scratch free GS 1200 projector. Universal Horror classic with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. $75 SOLD!!
40. Mystery Of The Mary Celeste (1935) 2 X 600 The very first film by Hammer Studios of the UK. Bela Lugosi plays a vengeful shipmate aboard the Mary Celeste and we still arn't sure if he really committed the murders at the end or not. Great Niles print with light lines if any at all. $75
41. Son Of Frankenstein (1939) I was fortunate enough to purchase mint unused prints of the 400 footer and the 200 footer and spliced them together to create a longer more complete version of this Universal Horror classic. Stars Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Basl Rathbone. Print is stone dead mint. $100 SOLD!
42. The Gorilla (1939) 2 X 800 Bela Lugosi meets the Ritz Brothes in this old dark house comedy with Lionel Atwill thrown in for good horror measure. A very good print with light lines but rare to find in this format. SOLD!!
43. Dark Eyes Of London aka The Human Monster (1939) 2 X 800 Bela Lugosi is back to London to film another one. This time he is playing a dual role both good and evil. Suprising how this film got past the censor boards in the UK. Bela really plays a nasty character and you can tell he is really enjoying this role big time. Very nice print with a couple of lines. VERY tough to find in super 8 full length. $150
44. The Devil Bat (1941) 2 X 600 The only film Lugosi did for PRC studios. Bela is at his best playing a revengeful scientist out to kill off an entire family with giant bats. This print is STONE DEAD MINT. You won't find a cleaner copy of this film anywhere. $150
45. The Invisible Ghost (1941) 2 X 600 Bela plays a man who is hypnotised by his "dead" wife to commit some nasty murders around his house. A Monogram quickie but offers some really great Lugosi scenes. Print is good with some lines. $50
46. Spooks Run Wild (1941) 2 X 800 Lugosi meets the East Side Kids as they find shelter at Bela's house only to be terrorized by him through the night. Little tough guy Leo Gorcey ain't takin no crap from no creep! Good print with some lines. $75 SOLD!
47. Ghost of Frankenstein (1942) 2 X 800 This is a CHC release and I swear I only watched it twice. Gorgeous print. STONE DEAD MINT! Lugosi as Igor just eating up his role! Chaney as the monster and a good shot at it I might add. Evelyn Ankers at her sexy best! $300 SOLD!!
48. Black Dragons (1942) 2 X 800 Bela plays yet another vengeful role where he plans on doing in a private mens club who betrayed him back in Japan. Neat little film with Bela at his creepy best. Nice print with some lines but very enjoyable. Very tough to find in this format. $100
49. Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman (1943) 1 x 600 Again I was fortunate enough to find mint unused Universal 8 prints of both the 400 foot and 200 foot digests of this film and spliced them together to create a more complete film. STONE DEAD MINT. $100 SOLD!!
50. Ghosts On The Loose (1943) 2 X 800 The East Side Kids are at it again, this time trying to dismantle Bela's Nazi propoganda printing ring. All they wanted to do was help Huntz Halls sister (Ava Gardner) move! A Niles print with some lines. $50
51. One Body Too Many (1944) 2 X 800 This is a Reel Images from CT release. I purchased this brand new back in the early 80's. Lugosi as the butler wanting all the guests to try his coffee while Jack Haley tries to close an insurance policy on a dead man. Sexy Jean Parker is gorgeous eye candy in this Paramount comedy. Some light lines but a very fun film to watch and very rare in this format. $100
52. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) This is a mint 400 foot Universal digest along with the 200 footer (200ft has original box) but I have not yet spliced them together. As far as I recall both are near mint. $75
53. Old Mother Riley Meets The Vampire (1952) 2 X 800 Full length print of this UK comedy classic. Beautiful print with one light line if any at all. Big time toughie to find in super 8 full length. Lugosi terrorizing poor Arthur Lucan $150
54. Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959) 2 X 800 The Ed Wood Classic B Film and Lugosi's final film before his death. This is the full length print not the edited version. Print is very clean with only light lines if any. Perfect Camp! $150 SOLD!!
55. Frankenstein (1931) 1 X 400 Universal 8 digest. Purchased brand new and comes with the original plastic clamshell box. Stone dead mint print of this Karloff Klassic. $50 SOLD!!
56. Scarface (1932) 2 X 800 & 1 X 400. This is my black and white "showoff" print. Universal 8 release. This movie is one of my faves with a brief part by Karloff and Muni at his Smug best as Tony Camonte aka Scarface. Anthony Perkins dad even has a meaty role in this film. A Great bunch of thugs with amazing cinematography! I hate to let this go!! Stone Dead Mint print!! $150
57. The Mummy (1932) This is the CHC release. I have watched this film 3 times on my scratch free GS1200. Beautiful print with Karloff as Ardeth Bey. A real crowd pleaser this one is. STONE DEAD MINT! SOLD!
58. The Lost Patrol (1934) 2 X 600 John Ford directed film about a patrol that loses their bearings in the desert. Karloff is a fanatical religious man while the others are gettin pecked off by the Arabs. Victor Mclaughlin is the captain beltin out the orders. Great print with a couple of light lines if any. $75
59. The Black Room (1935) 2 X 600 This is a STANDARD 8MM SOUND PRINT. What a wonderful film this one is! Karloff plays a dual role of twin brothers both good and evil. Although it's a period film....it is a big time shocker. Karloff is just oh so nasty as the evil twin! Marian Marsh is perfect eye Candy. Very good condition with only a couple of intermittent light lines. $100 SOLD!
60. Doomed To Die (1940) 2 X 800 Karloff plays Mr Wong the detective in this Monogram crime drama. Great poverty row quickie with the cute Marjorie Reynolds thrown in for some sexy humour. Karloff is very good at playing the oriental sluth. Very good print with light lines if any. Very tough to find in Super 8. $75 SOLD!!
61. The Ape (1940) 2 X 600 STANDARD 8MM SOUND PRINT. Yet another rare one in Regular 8mm sound. Karloff plays a doctor who is trying to find a cure for Polio. The only place he can get the spinal fluid needed is from the local circus ape......horros abound as his plan backfires! Very good print with only light lines. Very tough to find this film in standard 8mm sound. $100 SOLD!
62. Isle Of The Dead (1945) 1 X 600 A Val Lewton horror film that stars Karloff as a Military Captain blamed for a plague on an island. Little do the people know it's a vampire running amok! This is two Mountain film releases spliced together for a mini feature of this RKO film. Very good with light lines if any. $75
63. Bedlam (1945) 1 X 600 Yet another Val Lewton Chiller this time Karloff as the Keeper of an Insane Asylum in 1761. The inmates turn on him after they see through his dirty deeds. Again this is two Mountain films spliced to make a mini feature length print. Very good with light lines if any. $75 SOLD!!
64. Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome (1947) 2 X 800 Karloff as Gruesome while Ralph Byrd plays Dick Tracy trying to uncover Karloff's crime ring. I have never seen a print of this for sale since I got this one. Condition is good with some light lines and a couple of splices. $100
65. Corridors of Blood (1962) Karloff plays a doctor who discovers anesthesia and learns to seperate pain from the knife. This is a very very good film that is really underated. Christpher Lee plays Resurrection Joe and is a slimy toad all the way through the film. The atmosphere of this film is so dirty you can almost smell the sickness in the air in the poverty ridden areas of London. Rerecorded in stereo. A really nice print with some light lines. $100
66. King Kong (1976) 4 X 400 in original boxes. This is the rare German release that has been edited by Marketing Films. Movie starts off with them on the small boat headed for skull island. Very good print with some light lines. GERMAN SOUND. $100
