I'm missing the last reel of the original 6 reels of THE LOST WORLD (1925) Super8 B/W silent.

Douglas Meltzer describes the action as this:
"After the Brontosaurus escapes, he goes on a rampage and falls into the river when Tower Bridge collapses under his weight. He then swims away. Then it's back to the romantic subplot. Sir John sees that Paula is actually in love with the reporter and graciously steps aside. The last shot is Prof. Challenger, standing by the bridge, watching his dinosaur and his reputation head out to sea."

Hi, Michael, I don't know if this will help, but maybe. There is an auction on eBay. This guy doesn't know anything about film, so it might be super 8. If he will not ship to Denmark, have him ship it to me and I will forward it to you. [Cool]

Hi Michael --

I think I have some odd reels of "Lost World" -- I'll take a look and see which ones... If I've got it, you can have it for just the price of shipping...

Thanks Steven. It would be really great to have the full feature. I'll pay all expenses of course.

Good news and bad news --

The print I have appears to be complete on 5 "reels" (2 x 400, 1 x 200) (collectors club print). I ran looked at R5 and it has "the End" card and no splice before it. Not sure if this means it's an edited version or complete.

If you (or anyone) wants it - $50 takes it....

Hi Michael
This could be one of our titles that were available from our old catalouge back in the 80's, I can't remember exactley how the film ends but looking at our old catalouge it states the film is a 6 reeler, sounds like you have 5 of them
regards
Ian

Are there reel cards before each reel on the film?
How does your version of the film end (story wise)?
Thanks for looking into it.
