ON THE WRONG TREK (1936) On the Wrong Trek (1936) Super 8mm magnetic sound, approximately 400 feet, black & white, Blackhawk films. Directed by Charley Chase and Harold Law. Starring Charley Chase, Rosina Lawrence, Clarence Wilson, with a cameo appearance by Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
Charlie relates his harrowing vacation to his co-workers, including his encounter with two confused, derby-hatted hitchikers.
THE DENTIST (1932) The Dentist (1932) Super 8mm magnetic sound, approximately 400 feet, black & white, Blackhawk films. Directed by Leslie Pierce. Starring W.C. Fields, Dorothy Granger, Elise Cavannah.
After a disastrous round of golf, dentist Fields works on several patients, with painful results. His daughter tries to elope with the iceman, so he locks her in her upstairs room. This short comedy is definitely Fields' best.
