Hi,
I bought a large lot of super8 amateur films a few years ago as a way of getting into the format with a lot of material for scraps and repair, along with this came a number of standard 8 amateur films, all silent all colour. I don't have a standard 8 projector, but the labels all suggest family footage and foreign holidays ("Jeremy's first walk", Panama 1959, Birthdays 1950 etc.) In total

20 x 50ft reels (4 with just short lengths of leader in)
5 x 200ft reels in metal cans (1 is less than 50ft)
and a couple of more reels of leader.

If you're more interested, i can whip the loupe out. In return i'm looking for scraps of 16mm footage, leader and anything handy for repairs in the larger guage.

Thanks

Hi Raj,

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will find plenty of interest here amongst the forum members and the various topics.

I hope you are able to sort something out with another member or members.

Funny as I work with a Raj Patel up in good old London town.

Kev.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Cheers Kev,
Yeah the Raj Patels are pretty much the John Smiths of the Indian diaspora (i'm the best one though!).

Also, if no one wants to do a swap for the std-8, i'd be fine with 5 quid for the postage to get rid.

Hi Raj,

Where are you in the South East? Drop me an email. I'm sure I can help you out with 16mm odds and ends.

Cheers,

- Rob
