Kevin
I have also sent you email. And I would like to suggest a trade if you're interested.....I have to offer a feature length print THE WOMAN IN RED Gene Wilder. Warming color on 2 x 1200 optical sound. Good condition otherwise bought as new. Due to the color warming (just warming, not pink) how about an even swap. And just so you know this movie is full frame flat. As far as I know this is a very rare title not to many prints hanging around.
I can pay if you don't want to trade films. If you say yes to the trade, then they cross in the mail.....just let me know

Hello everyone and thank you all for your interest in my films - I've updated my original post and have replied to each of you indivdually via email except for Alan (as I don't know your email address) and can confirm Halloween has already been sold.

Kevin, I (test) screened FANTASIA 2000 in the morning to re-record it. Great movie (even if a little bluish, but I knew all copies are like that). I'll menage a 'definitive' sceening during the week end, HALLOWEEN included. Buying from you is always a pleasure. And a garantee. Take care.

I saw at least two different copies of FANTASIA 2000 (mine and my friend's one) and they had both excellent colors... Why do you say they are bluish?

Hello Flavio. Mine is, but I'm happy anyway with it. Really. I had also seen a couple of prints before the one Kevin sold to me. And they were exactly the way mine is. It was not a surprise at all! I should have said 'I know some prints are a little bluish if compared to others', sorry.

Gian, perhaps they are the same and we have different opinion about colors.. We are both happy with our prints and this is what matters with us! FANTASIA 2000 is the only Derann I didn't want to re-record because of the grey stripe! I'm sure I'm not able to get the same quality of the current recording, so I preferred to leave it in English (above all because the most of the time the soundtrack is made of MUSIC!!!!)

Hi Flavio, you are right: the main thing is that we both are happy with our prints. I will send you some shots to your private mail just to be in a position to compare my copy to yours. That's the only way to discover if we simply have a different point of view about color. Take care.

Osiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Hi there, hope you are right. The answer is 'no': THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE does not fit the whole frame and it is in 4:3 .

Hello Chaps
Just a thought - it might be better for you to start a new thread regarding printing colour bias in the main 8mm section, as many members will miss this conversation as it has kind of 'hijacked' a for sale thread, especially as my print of Fantasia 2000 isn't in 'scope and wasn't listed for sale here in the first place
My experience with three prints of Fantasia 2000 I've owned or screened is that they were all printed slightly 'cold' ie. the colour spectrum biased towards blue rather than 'warm' biased towards red. Still all colours there and beautiful but blue tint appearing in whiter areas such as Steve Martin's hair etc.
Also I believe Derann still sell this feature on a per reel basis, and if anyone specifically wants the Sorcerer's Apprentice segment it is part three you need to order.
