Joe, I see recently you are really particular with 600" metal reel.
What is the different between metal and plastic reel. Any significant or you just want to have it for sentimental reasons?
Sorry I am just curios.
(ps i just realized you are looking for the can... but again, isn't that metal can will trigger VS?, so what happen to plastic can? or why don't you use ex 16mm metal can although it is a bit bigger) cheers

Yes, the metal reel (and can) fuse well with film causing no VS, as long as air is controlled - I find plastic sometimes (even slightly warm) will have an odor. After testing metal through the years, it is not only sturdy in storage but actually acts as a fine companion with celluloid
