I checked six of the following seven films yesterday and today. If anything interests you, please send me an e-mail message.
"Island of Mystery" - Disney 200' color sound - color has considerable warming - good sound - frequent lines - box with color reproduction of the original box artwork - SOLD
"There's No Business Like Show Business" - Ken (F29) 400' color sound - color has warmed - good sound - lines which come and go - fair original box with two taped corners - SOLD
"Rocketship" - Niles B&W feature on four 400' reels - feature version of the serial "Flash Gordon" (1936) - pretty good Niles print - light lines here and there - sound is good but just a little hollow - reel two exhibits some jumpiness in spots - and that wonderful recycled music from "Bride of Frankenstein" - original Niles box has seen better days - $30.00
"The Gorgon" - Columbia 400' color sound - color has definitely gone to the reddish - fair sound - lines throughout - housed in a plastic can - and it's Hammer - SOLD
"Superman" - Warner 400' color sound - color has faded somewhat but still looks good - the color in Superman's outfit really looks good - jumpiness of image a few times - sound is good - nice original clamshell case - SOLD
"Humpty Dumpty" - Blackhawk 200' color sound - Ub Iwerks Comicolor cartoon (1935) - a nearly perfect print - great color and sound - if there were any lines, they were light - original Blackhawk silver box - a little gem - $20.00
"Pardon My Backfire" - Derann 400' 3D sound - Three Stooges comedy - brand new print which has never been run - includes two pairs of glasses - $40.00
Thanks for reading.
