Probably a nasty scratch that just, well, pisses off the owner of any said print in that condition!
I have an optical super 8 print of "Island of Dr. Moreuah" (hell, I don't know how to spell that name!), and it, incredibly, has perfect color, but also a perfect skinny green scratch that runs the whole bloody film on the left hand side!

I have over the years adopted a system that helps me deal with and accept scratches on films, and that is,as long as my machines haven't caused them,I can live with that.I've a lovely 16mm print of "20 Million Miles to Earth" that has a scratch through the whole picture on the emulsion side, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment too much, especially when you think of the folks that would love a print, scratched or otherwise, also I did get it cheaper.
